Easy PEBBLES™ Easter Cereal Nests
A colourful, PEBBLES™ cereal-themed Easter basket doubles as a sweet dessert and a unique way to store Easter eggs! This Easter nest recipe is sure to impress the whole family. Better yet, let the kids help create this super easy, super fun Easter nest made deliciously with Fruity PEBBLES™ cereal and marshmallows.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter or margarine
- 3 cups miniature marshmallows
- 4 cups Fruity PEBBLES™ cereal
- 3 cups coconut assorted candies
Directions
- Microwave butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 30 seconds or until melted. Add marshmallows; toss to coat. Microwave 1 ½ minutes or until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after 45 seconds. Add Fruity PEBBLES™ cereal; mix well.
- Press cereal mixture firmly onto bottoms and up sides of 24 lightly greased 2 ½-inch muffin cups; cool. Store, loosely covered, at room temperature.
- Fill with coconut and candies to resemble eggs in nests just before serving. Makes 2 dozen.
